LUCIA HARARI
Lucía Harari (Buenos Aires, 1982) is an audiovisual artist working across painting, relational actions, and video art. She holds a degree from the National University of the Arts (UNA) and a Specialization in Conceptual Design from the National University of Tres de Febrero (UNTREF), where she has taught Contemporary Art since 2019. She was selected for the Nuevas Narrativas documentary development programme, supported by a training grant from Argentina's National Arts Fund (Fondo Nacional de las Artes). She has participated in studio critique programmes with Valeria González, Diana Aisenberg, and Sergio Bazán.
Her video trilogy Dreams, the Saga received support from Asylum Arts (USA) and was selected for Bienal Sur 2021. Her short film Let's Talk About the Climate received a mention at the Bahía Blanca Festival of Photography and Moving Image (2021) and was incorporated into the Hamaca Archive (Barcelona). In 2020 she received a special mention at the BIT Biennial / UADE Award for Alert: Calm Enabled. She has curated video art programmes in Buenos Aires and Madrid, and has participated in awards including Andreani, Desafío Latinoamericano Index Award, and the National Visual Arts Salon (2018). She is currently developing the short film Fuga Panamericana with support from Eidolon Centre for Everyday Photography (Budapest).
